The onsite foodservice arm of the Luby’s cafeteria chain, LCS recently added a regional director of operations and a director of patient services to supplement its management team, add value to clients and provide more support and oversight for teams in the field. Also new is a Chef’s Table program for children’s hospital clients that has children come down to the kitchen (sometimes with siblings and parents) and do things like build their own pizza or decorate cupcakes or jello molds.
The company is focused on nutrition, streamlining processes and improving its Stealth Health program without altering the quality or flavor of the offerings. It also implemented a way for patients to order from café retail menus to widen their choices, and it continued rolling out its Fuddruckers brand to its retail centers.
