The foodservice division of Gulf Coast Enterprises provides full food and mess attendant services to the U.S. Navy, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Armed Forces Retirement Homes and the Air Force Reserve. It currently operates at 26 facilities in five states and the District of Columbia, serving over 10 million meals a year.
In the past year, GCE picked up contracts with the U.S. Army 7th Special Forces Group at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton, FL., and U.S. Army Fort Polk in Louisiana. In addition, an entry into the senior dining segment has so far yielded revenues of $1.5 million, making it a market focus for the coming year.
