Alden Caldwell, a former member of British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution initiative, has been named director of food services for the Brookline (MA) Public Schools

Alden Caldwell, a former member of British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution initiative, has been named director of food services for the Brookline (MA) Public Schools, reports the Brookline Tab. Caldwell had previously served as director of nutrition services at the Concord-Carlisle (MA) Schools for the past year. As in his previous stop, Caldwell says he plans to implement the use of more local products in district menus, increase the amount of fresh produce being served and provide nutrition education to district students sop that they can make better meal choices outside of school as well.
