Burlington Schools Begins Serving Supper at School

The Burlington (VT) School District has begun serving supper at school at three elementary school sites, reports WCAX. The meals are served at the end of the school day, admittedly an early time for the evening meal, but the district says it is necessary given the significant expansion in the number of Burlington students becoming eligible for free and reduced meals. The meals are all paid for with federal funds.
