Master-Bilt has named Steve Asay national accounts manager for refrigeration and general manager of the Standex Foodservice Group, Kool-Star. Prior to his appointment with Master-Bilt, Asay served as vice president of sales and marketing for Kairak/ITW.

The goal of Asay's addition is to advance Master-Bilt’s foodservice refrigeration business, in particular, rack refrigeration, the company says. "With his many years of experience in the refrigeration industry, his primary goal with Master-Bilt is to drive market share increases in rack refrigeration and associated Master-Bilt products," it noted in the release announcing the hire. 

“Steve’s experience in refrigeration, as well as consultant management, makes him a perfect fit for our team,” says Bill Huffman, vice president of sales and marketing for Master-Bilt.  “We’re thrilled to bring him on to our sales and marketing team.”
