We Suspect PETA

ABC News reported recently on a tick whose bite spreads an allergy to meat. In effect, it is turning its victims into vegetarians, something not everyone finds unfortunate.

Called the “lone star tick” for the white spot on its back, it has been found along the East Coast. No doubt, some enterprising anti-carnivores are even now scheming to see how it may be spread into barbecue country and the nation’s burger and steak loving midsection.

Wonder if there’s a tick that can make someone allergic to tofu…just to balance things out…
