Walk prospective students around Texas Tech's pool/waterpark complex, an outdoor rec area featuring fun stuff like chutes and slides, and semi-serious stuff like a lap pool. It also has its own Sam's Place outlet that sells gourmet sandwiches, hot dogs, fresh-baked cookies and other sweets and, the favorites, fresh salads and smoothies. When the pool is open (into October and starting in May most years), the venue can generate up to 500 transactions a day.
