After focusing on the education market—primarily private schools and universities—for the past decade, Epicurean entered the B&I arena late last year, targeting a select group of prospects with the help of a newly hired VP of Business Development. It was a natural extension for a company specializing in fresh, natural and local food sourcing with its supply network of area farmers, and has resulted in four major new business clients to date. Other recent initiatives include new online ordering and catering programs.
