Continental recently launched a Catering & Events division it intends to build into a top off-premise catering option for customers in the metro Detroit market. It is expected to complement one of the company’s more unique offerings: a pair of luxury yachts—including the tri-level, 300-passenger Ovation—that it owns and uses to host catered events  Continental also plans to open a modern culinary center in Oakland (MI) County to serve as a showcase for its services and capabilities.  

Another major new initiative is an unmanned round-the-clock c-store concept called Market 24/7 designed for small-population sites that features a minimal footprint and offers greater variety, including fresh food choices, than traditional vending programs.
