Univ. of Florida Plans to Eliminate Plastic Bags

Gator Dining Services at the University of Florida plans to eliminate plastic bags fromm its on-campus dining locations.

Gator Dining Services at the University of Florida plans to eliminate plastic bags in on-campus dining locations, reports the Alligator campus paper. Two Subway branded locations on campus have already substituted labels that secure sandwich wrappings for plastic containers though they will continue to keep bags on hand for customers who request them. Gator Dining Services is also exploring ways to replace plastic with paper bags at other dining locations.
