Students at the University of Georgia can now plan their meals with University Food Services before ever stepping foot in a dining hall through a website and mobile application.

Students at the University of Georgia can now plan their meals with University Food Services before ever stepping foot in a dining hall, reports the Red and Black campus paper. The new nutrition feature of the UGA Food Services newly designed website displays the daily menu for all of the dining halls, allowing students to build their plates while seeing the calories and nutritional content of the food.

Food Services also has a mobile web app that can be accessed from any smartphone. It allows students to leave feedback, see occupancy of the various dining halls and update their meal plans. Future plans include incorporating the build-your-plate feature that is found on the website.
