Former NACUFS President and College Dining Silver Plate Award winner Joe Blair has passed away at age 81

Former NACUFS President and 1976 College Dining Silver Plate Award winner Joe Blair has passed away at age 81. Blair served as director of dining at Oklahoma State University for more than 30 years.

In addition to serving as national president of NACUFS for a term, he also held the posts of regional president, national secretary and treasurer and national program director (twice). In recognition of his services, the organization presented him with its highest honor, the Theodore Minah Lifetime Achievement Award, in 1978 and named him a winner of its Distinguished Lifetime Member Award in 1991.
