College's Culinary Arts Program Shutdown Also Means Loss of Campus Dining Service

Clark College is suspending its culinary arts program, which also provided all campus dining service, and is considering outside food truck operators as a temporary solution.

Clark (WA) College is considering using outside food cart vendors to provide campus dining services while it temporarily shuts down its existing campus dining operation for two years, reports the Columbian. Campus dining services have been handled by the school's culinary arts program, but that program is being suspended starting this summer and won't be reinstituted until fall 2014. Clark has an enrollment of around 14,000.
