Centerplate operates foodservice for 10 NFL, three major league baseball, three NHL, two NBA and over two dozen minor league baseball and hockey teams, along with dozens of other sports, entertainment and convention facilities, including six of the top ten most active convention centers.
The company has hosted 12 Super Bowls, 20 World Series, 15 official U.S. Presidential Inaugural Balls and more than 100 major college bowl games. In the past 12 months, it served fans at Super Bowl XLVI, the Pro Bowl, the BCS Championship Game, the Stanley Cup Finals, the Belmont Stakes and the South Beach Wine & Food Show.
Among Centerplate’s recent initiatives are the launch of a Victory Select menu featuring “fan-friendly favorites at fan-friendly prices,” a SnackSmart healthy-for-you program, and new menu items at several venues. Also, the Centerplate Stir hospitality design division partnered with celebrity chef Donald Link to bring authentic New Orleans flavors to the city’s Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
