Peeling Potatoes on Gilligan's Island

YouTube has managed to turn up plenty of food-related clips, some more entertaining (or more disgusting) than others, but it also has become a highly effective way of sharing visual demos of kitchen tips. Some even “go viral,” as this one apparently did earlier this year, logging almost 5 million views by mid July.

The star is Dawn Wells — the actress who played Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island — and who in just under 90 seconds manages to demonstrate a potato-peeling trick many cooks would have died to have known over the years. Check it out at:
