Chocolate-Tea Flavor
A new tea lets chocoholics indulge by delicately sipping a cup of tea instead of wolfing down a candy bar. Chocolate Mint Truffle is a caffeine free herbal infusion just released by Mighty Leaf Tea, whose founders were inspired by a visit to Bayonne in Southern France, where artisan chocolate dates back to the 1500s.
Historical Tea Time Anecdote While You Sip:
Centuries ago, cocoa beans made their way from Central and South America to Spain, where they were produced by Jewish artisans, who soon had to flee due to the Spanish Inquisition. Many settled in France later, but things weren't any friendlier. Chocolate was banned and considered evil! After the French Revolution, chocolate flowed freely once and for all.
