Baked Apples
YIELD: 4 servings
| Olive-oil cooking spray (or other variety cooking spray) | |
| 5 | Golden Delicious apples, quartered, cored and peeled |
| 1 Tbsp. plus ¼ cup granulated sugar, divided | |
| ¼ tsp. | cinnamon, divided |
| ¼ cup | packed light brown sugar |
| ⅓ cup | all-purposed flour |
| 3 Tbsps. | olive oil |
1. Spray a 13×9” shallow baking dish with cooking spray. Toss apples with 1 Tbsp. sugar and half the cinnamon; spread in baking dish.
2. In a bowl combine ¼ cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour and remaining cinnamon. Drizzle with olive oil and blend with fork or finger tips until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
3. Bake at 375°F until apples are tender and crumbs are browned, about 45 minutes.
