USA Rice Federation is accepting entries now through Nov. 5 for its annual “Healthy Rice Bowls Contest” for K-12 school foodservice operators. Winners will receive a $500 Visa gift card toward their school's education fund, and rice cookers for school and home use. Last year's winner was San Diego Unified School District with its “Wok ‘n Bowl” station featuring Beef and Broccoli Rice Bowl.
