Sodexho Government Services Division has been awarded an eight-year contract to provide foodservice operations to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) White Oak Complex in Silver Spring, MD. Under the agreement, Sodexho will operate a cafeteria and a coffee bar/barista featuring Starbucks coffee, with plans to open an additional cafeteria as the campus expands. Currently, there are about 2,000 employees onsite, but the FDA projects that the complex will hold 8,800 employees after a planned expansion.
