Illinois Extends 'Junk Food' Ban

The Illinois State Legislature's Joint Committee on Administrative Rules has extended the ban on "junk foods" in state schools to the entire school day and also to middle schools.

Existing rules already prohibited their sale in elementary schools during breakfast and lunch.
