Austin, MN—Hormel Foods Corp. announced earlier this week that its board of directors has elected Jeffrey Ettinger as a board member immediately and president/COO effective July 1. He succeeds Joel Johnson, who has served as president/COO since 1992. Johnson remains chairman/CEO of the company.
Ettinger had most recently served as president/CEO of Hormel’s Jennie-O Turkey Store subsidiary since 1999 and group vp for the company since 2001. He will be succeeded at Jennie-O by CIO Michael Tolbert.
