California State University-East Bay has opened a new $13 million extension of its university union that features a brand new food court designed to keep more students on campus at the largely commuter school. The two-story building features Panda Express and Montague’s Deli branded units. A grand opening celebration of the new facility is scheduled for Feb. 27.
