Danone has signed an agreement to acquire YoCream, a major frozen yogurt producer, for $103 million, enabling Danone to move into a fast growing category while also gaining access to an away-from-home distribution network, in addition to its existing channels.

Duro Bag Manufacturing has named Bob Leblanc vice president of foodservice sales. A 28-year industry veteran, Leblanc most recently served as vice president of foodservice sales for Solo Cup Co. Earlier, he spent 20 years with Kraft Foods.

Richelieu Foods, a frozen pizza and pourable products manufacturer based in Randolph, MA, has been acquired by the Centerview Partners private equity group. Richelieu has annual sales of $250 million and supplies private label frozen pizza and private label/proprietary brand dressings and sauces to the retail and foodservice channels.
